Design Work Portfolio was requested to develop a concept for a contemporary maternity hospital.

The scheme was to introduce a less formal and more “welcoming” feel to all of the suites. The term “boutique hotel” was the key reference for the conception of this design.

We created a new generation of hospitals where patients felt more as if they were on a luxury holiday than a patient in hospital.

Back of House & Front of House areas were created which totally segregated traffic areas for Guests and medical / support staff; even within the guest suite itself.
